We lived in a home on Oakmont Circle in Livermore California. My siblings and I would see many supernatural things. My brother and sisters were 7 and 9 years older than me and saw many more sinister things. I heard scratching on the wall and looked between my bed which fit closely to the wall. I saw eyes shining back at me like an animal. Another evening I watched in glee, at 3 or 4, crayons falling from the ceiling. In my mind it was happy and magical, but then nightmares came. There were lions jumping through the glass front door. I watched it disappear as fast as it came. That was weird.
My sister had ceramic dolls. They made my sister and brother spooked. It was more so for my sister because they lived in her room. She would hide the two dolls on her drawer overnight; however, in the morning they would be right there staring at her. My brother and sister would turn the dolls upside down, and the dolls themselves would look scared. However, there was more. I got up on a chair to get the dolls out of the closet. When I got to my bedroom and heard something inside the dolls, I shook it vigorously. Then all the weapons from the old board game ''Clue'' fell and scattered on my bed. I asked my siblings if they did it. They didn't know what I was talking about.
I'm sure my sister thought more about what I told her than she let on. She was my big sister and played the part well, all the way into my teenage years. My brother used to scare me. (I didn't trust his opinion. I held my sister's in high regard. )
Another night my siblings would see something that would become a regular nightly appearance. It looked like three and a half feet black and hairy. Hair was everywhere and it had no face. It scared them to death. They would turn the lights on, and it would disappear. When they turned the lights back off it would come back in an hour or so. In my brother's room there was also activity in his closet. There was a glowing light coming from a shirt pocket, maybe a polo shirt with a horse emblem. It was glowing. My sister didn't believe my brother's ''fish stories,'' so she spent the night in his room. Then it happened. She would exclaim ''let's tell mom!'' My brother said ''yeah, right. ''
As adults we speak of it often and sometimes learn new happenings from all the way back to 1974. Home of the Native American ''Nordwall'' curse of the totem pole. Anyone out there that had the same experience on Oakmont circle? Ejewell92@gmail.com.
