I live along Highway 99 on the frontage road in an old motel that's now apartments. Living here, for all tenants, means sharing space with the ''others.'' We've all accepted the fact that we have roommates that we see very little of but deal with constantly. At my place I've learned to work with the others somewhat. If I can't seem to find something in my place, I just say something like'' OK guys, that's enough. I need my *whatever it is*, so can you please

give it back and help me find it? I'd sure appreciate it.'' And within 30 seconds it's right in front of me, where it never got put by me.

others like to borrow things a lot. They don't return stuff all the time any more. Maybe they think it's their stuff, and we keep borrowing from them. Hard telling. Some days we can actually see them walking around in our places. They really seem to be sharing the same space we all live in. There are days where they don't really bother us, and there are days that we wish we could just knock them out because they're such a pain. The experiences we have
