This is a very true story of poltergeist activity on Ackerman Drive in Lodi. This is an industrial area with no houses only businesses. Well I am not quite sure of the year when things started to happen where I worked. I would say probably from 2006 on for a few years. It first started with some photos of some equipment I took. There were orbs in the photo. Now most orb photos are dust or moisture in the air that are just retracting the light. Orbs that are just that get far too much credibility as spirit activity. The truth is most orbs are absolutely nothing but what I described.

Now there is this orb that is different and is illuminated and seems to have a mind of its own when caught on video. This type is like a glowing light in a dark room. Well, I was taking still photos on a digital camera, and one of these orbs was a ball of light. Now being a scholar of the paranormal for years I didn't pit a lot of thought into it. I just knew that orb was different from all the other which were indeed moisture and dust. It was a foggy day and very moist outside, and I was taking these photos in a warehouse with most of the dock doors open. I showed it to one of my co-workers, and he thought it was strange, and it was forgotten.

One evening I happened to be working late, and I was alone in the office. Everyone had left, and I was just typing on the computer, and I heard what sounded like a heavy box hitting the floor. It was extremely loud, so loud it extremely startled me. I called out a co-worker's name who had left about a half hour before the noise, thinking he came back and had dropped the box on the floor in the entryway of the office that I am unable to see from where my desk. It was not the employee coming back. This noise came from nowhere. There was also a roll of about ten thick posters that a vendor sent us rolled up and standing straight up. When the noise had occurred these posters fell over. I didn't notice they had until I got up to investigate the noise and saw them lying over. I stood them back up and jumped all around them to see if I could get them to fall over. They wouldn't. Like I said they were thick posters rolled up, and they were sturdy standing up. Now the poster falling was on video. We had a security cam that caught the poster falling over, but nothing else appeared on the video. I wish I had the video today, but I do not. So this loud sound and posters falling over are unexplainable and just one thing that happened that has unknown cause.
A co-worker and I watched a box of heavy steel track flip over right in front of our very eyes. We knew that we had a spirit in the building. I was standing once in the middle of two other employees talking and a wind blew right through me, but this wind was not felt by the other two people standing with me. It was a hot summer, and though I can't say the wind was cold it was cooler than the temperature. It was strange that this wind only went through me. There were a lot of little things that happened like loud noises in the warehouse and thrown paper clips on only my desk. This spirit seemed to direct its attention mostly to me.
Another night I left work, went home, ate dinner and then came back to do some more work. It was dark and raining that night. And I brought my Chow German Shepherd mix dog with me. The dog stared down the entry way all night. It's about 20' hallway that leads to the door which for me is blocked, by a wall but the dog was about 15' straight across from me and could see the door. She was staring and every once a while barking and looking anxious as if she knew something was there. I saw nothing. The window is tinted, and there is a light very similar to a porch light you would at your house, but this made the glass door look from the inside of the office like a mirror because of the type of tint, so you could not see out the door unless you went right up to it and looked out. Well I am doing my work, and the dog is still staring down the entry way. The next think you know there was a loud bang on the door as if someone had hit it with a closed fist but not with the knuckles, with the side of the fist. Anyone who would hit that door with their knuckles to get that loud of a bang would have broken their hand.
