I used to work at the Champion Center shortly after it had opened. I was on the upper floor above the old OR. At the time we had one patient, and their room was directly in front of the nurse's station. It was the middle of the night, and the patient was sleeping as we did hourly checks on them.
There were three of us staff members sitting at the nurse's station right next to each other. At the time none of us were talking, and either on our phones or writing with our one patient sleeping directly in front of us.
All of a sudden I heard someone whisper in my ear. I couldn't quite make out what it was, but I looked up, and to the left of me was my co-worker with her eyes wide open staring at me. She asked, ''Did you hear that?'' I said, ''Yes, but I don't know what it said.'' She replied it said, ''Do you want to play with me?''

Our other coworker who was directly to the right of me said she didn't hear anything but also didn't believe in spirits. There was no way we could explain it as the only way up was the elevator that was to the left of us, and you could hear it when it opened. There was also no way to get behind the nurse's station as there was a sharing room with only one door, and you would have had to walk past us to get to it.

We would have patients who were there at different times talk about how there was something weird in the one of the back corner rooms. I always felt like something was watching me and felt on edge when I was alone. Submitted by Anonymous

I grew up in the south side of the village. I recall one night I was woken up by the sound of sobbing outside my bedroom window. The sound frightened me even though it sounded like a child crying. When I got out of bed and peered down into the backyard through my blinds I saw a little boy dressed in a white sailor suit with light colored hair. He was glowing. I asked him ''what was wrong? He looked up at my window and continued sobbing, saying ''help me.'' I told him I couldn't help and jumped back in bed. I pulled the covers over my head. I was totally freaked! I remained under the covers until the sobbing stopped.
