I moved out of E. 1st Street in Long Beach because I kept feeling something in the room. When I moved out my upstairs neighbor with whom I'd only exchanged an occasional hello asked me if I was moving out because of the ghost, informing me that the last tenant moved out because of a ghost. When I inquired with the landlord I was informed that my apartment was part of a converted garage in which a doctor in the front house performed operations for indentured servants who could not afford medical care.

I'm posting this in case any past present or future tenants have had similar experiences. Though I never saw the ghost for some reason I was certain it was a little girl.
