When I was about eight years old my mother and I were visiting the Natural History Museum. It was always among my favorite places to visit as a child, but we'd never explored the whole grounds before as it was just too large, and there was bound to be some great things we'd have surely missed in the past. One day we were walking up one of the huge spiral staircases. Halfway up the staircase we ran into a nice woman who was sitting on a velvet couch,

which was bolted to the ground as if it were permanently meant for guests (even though it was very out of place.)
The woman told us of the ''Bird

Hall'' exhibit which we would've never known about if it weren't for her giving us directions to it. We both followed what she said, came across the exhibit, and absolutely loved it. On our way back up the staircase in which we'd met her, we couldn't help but realize that both her and the bolted velvet couch were completely gone, with no indication of where the seat was fastened to the ground.
