I came home from market and tried to unlock my apartment door in Los Feliz. The deadbolt wouldn't turn. The manager couldn't get it to budge either, and we both said that it felt like someone inside holding it. Her teenage daughter got it to open, but it clicked back again instantly. Believing someone was inside we called police. Four officers tried to open the deadbolt without luck. They thought it was being held, so they planned to break in. A female officer stepped forward turned the key, and the lock easily opened! They went in guns drawn but found nothing.
The next night at about 2 am my bathroom door slammed and locked! No windows were open. The manager didn't even want to come in my apartment. Several other things happened there that could only be explained by spirit activity. My dog would bark and growl at a closet door from time to time. It was fascinating.

I just moved to Echo Park area near downtown Los Angeles. The building was built in the 1920s so there have been quite a few residents here since I moved in. I was resting in bed one night watching TV and I saw a figure of a woman in the hallway, scared me half to death.
Then I've had things like my keys end up in my refrigerator, so I think it's that ghost I saw playing games with me.
