My family home is not old. We live in Ranchwood. We were the first and only people who have lived in our house. Going on twenty-three years now, but I remember as a teenager strange things happening. We lived in a two-story house and would hear someone running in the hallway upstairs. Even though there was no one up there. In the kitchen my sister and I were talking when it sounded like nails scratching on the floor next to us. It was like something

trying to run fast, but when we looked down we only heard it. We did not see it. As we got older the activity seemed to stop.
I still live in the

house with my son and other family members. The activity started up again, only more intense. I remember being upstairs on the computer, and I kept hearing my young niece calling my name. I asked her what she wanted, but she just kept calling my name, so I went to see what she wanted. I looked down the stairs at her and saw that she just ran off. Thinking she was playing with me because I just saw her run off, I went to find her. She was nowhere to be found.
