My sister and I spent a few days in Mammoth this weekend 6/ 22/18 - 6/24/18. This picture was taken at Lake Mary around 7:00 in the evening while we were having a dinner picnic. Several days later we were looking through our pictures and noticed that what had originally just looked like snow on the mountain now looked like an image of a witch.
The witch appears to be holding something in front of her, perhaps a bird or maybe that is part of her body. A friend of my sisters had heard a story as a child that miners thought the lady that lived on the lake was a witch, so they did some terrible things to her and then burnt her and threw her in the river. It gave me chills to hear this. Had we just caught and image of this lady?.
