The duplexes behind a house on E. Alameda Street are haunted. I lived in one of the units for twelve years. They say the duplexes were built in the 1940s. There is a lot of history there. A friend of mine is a ''medium,'' and she said she felt a lot of negative energy inside the duplex. I personally saw an apparition of a man's shoulders and head. I've heard a man call my name. In the laundry room, we had an oil lamp fly off the shelf and smash into the

all sleeping sound in their beds. I have also heard the sound of work boots clomping around in the kitchen, along with the sound of our kitchen chairs sliding across the room. The sound of a rustling skirt and footsteps in the hall had me so petrified; I couldn't move! After a while of living there, we started experiencing these things. Our only TV in the living room would turn on by itself in the middle of the night. We knew it wasn't our cats since
