I woke up as it was just starting to get light out and I saw it standing by the bed just looking at us... Not a silhouette, I could see the khaki color collared shirt and the texture of the skin on his hand.

It was just standing over us like it wasn't sure what to do. I could only see the left half though, the other side and the head faded into the dark. I turned on the light and nothing was there. It looked so much like a person that I was worried someone had broken in.

But my cats were sleeping and they would have noticed if a stranger was in our apartment. I decided it was a hallucination, so I turned the light off... It was still there, in the same spot. I left the light on till my alarm went off about an hour later.
I don't know why I didn't wake my boyfriend. I just didn't feel like I should. I didn't get the feeling like it wanted to hurt us... It was just standing there, almost awkwardly, like it had just stumbled in and came across two sleeping people and wasn't sure what to do.
Still, when I go to bed I don't like looking around much into the dark, I'm afraid of what I might see.
