he also drank water from my hand, something very few animals will do. I kept calling out and no one ever responded, the dog was in the middle of a flat sandy area 3-400 ft. across as I mentioned earlier. I decided to leave and had only taken 3 steps when I turned and the dog was gone. How or where it left - went so fast I have no idea. There are tales of a spirit that takes the shape of coyotes or dogs in the desert, good thing I fed it.

Box Canyon Mecca California. Me and a friend took a drive passing canal. Five minutes into drive I pulled over to take a leak. It was around 11 pm. Got in to car and a loud scream was heard inside the car with us.
I heard an Indian lady was killed there. A month after that me and a coworker were talking and he brought up a story. That had happened to her son there also, but they saw the actual spirit walking along the side of the road.
