I lived in Merced from 1976 to 1985. This story used to scare the heck out of me! They called her the Lady of the Lake. There was also the Bear Creek Bogger Man! Scary stuff!.

I would see the same girl at my old house on Pepper Tree. I am trying to find out any history info, or if anyone else has seen this girl. All of my family saw her. She would laugh in the halls. Follow me everywhere. One night she was on my bed, said my name, and lifted my bed up the wall.
