In my bedroom she appeared a few times and used to rock (unseen) in the rocking chair next to my bed. She was a friendly spirit. There was another darker spirit that resided in the home as well which was not at all friendly and quite angry. I once made the stupid decision to explore the crawlspace under the house accessible from the wine cellar through a hobbit sized door. It was the worst decision I could have made. I'd bet money that his body

was buried in that crawlspace somewhere. He was also seen often as a dark shadow taking the stairwell at the back of the house from the second floor down

to the first floor.

This happened at a home close to Merced High. I was 16 at the time, and I was short. There's a backyard sliding door with no blinds. It was dark outside, and I was standing on a chair screwing in a light bulb. Anyway I looked behind me, and I saw this girl. She was grey with black hair and had a white dress. She was on her knees. Her palms were pressing so hard you can see them white on her hand. She was staring at me. I backed up, went around to the kitchen, and came back slowly. Then she was gone. I will never forget that she damn near looked like the grudge, the only ghost I saw.
