Off of old Piedmont Road up Canyon View Drive and onto Sweigert Road, has anyone ever seen or experienced anything there? I want to know because today I was talking with a coworker who also happens to live in the area, and apparently a lot of paranormal activity happens up there. I normally walk up there casually for a hike or sorts but turn back before Canyon View turns into Sweigert. The one time I went up to the beginning of Sweigert I stopped to look

at the view and right as I turned to continue on, I was stopped in my tracks by a disembodied growl. My first instinct was thinking ''mountain lion,''

but we've never seen any around here ever. Plus, for the kind of growl it was, there was no way it came from an animal. Needless to say, I felt overwhelmingly unwelcome, and I turned around.
The second instance was when I was driving around with a friend who isn't local. I told him to drive up the hill, so we could see the view. The moment we got to the beginning of Sweigert Road, we felt the energy change simultaneously without saying a word to one another.
