same thing happen, but they didn't believe their daughter. Now they felt bad because we had only lived next to them about 2 1/2 years, and they had lived there for over 20 years.

Ancia Lane, Mission Viejo. (Ancia in Spanish means Anxiety). When I was approximately 12 years old, one night I was sleeping and for no reason I woke up and immediately turned my nightstand lamp on. I looked to my closed door and saw the knob turn and open about 2 feet.

We had thick carpet and my knob was kind of sticky, so it took some force to open/close the door. You could -always- hear footsteps because we were in an older 2 story house (build mid 1970's).

NO sound of anyone walking away. I called out my siblings name thinking it was one of them. Silence. Months later my cousins and I were in that bedroom and I told them what happened. A bit later I went downstairs and heard a door -SLAM- I ran upstairs to yell at them for shutting it so rudely and found them both in the middle of my bed shaking and one almost crying. Apparently, the door had shut itself.... .

My friend's house on Via Cuervo in Mission Viejo had ''shadow'' people living with them. Would hide keys move objects and turn on water fauctes at full blast. Very creepy. I saw it myself once and confirmed with the mother of the household that indeed the shadow person had never harmed them, so they'd just learned to ''live with it''.
