I don't know if this building is haunted but I would like to know if anyone knows of anything that happened here or could tell me how to find the history of this building. I've looked up info about psychic reactions or spirits and it says that they can affect the way you feel.
Also her mother is a medium and I wonder if she could have passed the gift to her daughter. I would love to get to the bottom of this thank you.

I live in Modesto, Calif and I collect dolls and I have a antique doll that I believe is haunted I believe the spirit is a very kind one seeing as it has never scared me or anything. But it does scare the hell out of my cat and 2 dogs. If she's out of her case the dogs will wet themselves, growl and bark; the cat hisses and losses it and when she's in the case. They avoid that area totally, they walk by it really fast tails tucked and watching their backs.

I lived on Milnes Rd for 10 years and many times we had problems. Every night there was sounds from the attic. These sounds we described like heavy boots dragging across the floor. When I was eight I had had an Ernie doll (from sesame Street) I had loved the doll very much but the course of a very dramatic occasion would make even the most loved doll of a child be the most feared. One night the batteries had ran low so of course we had removed them. Over the course of that week my mother had informed me that I had been talking in my sleep. I did not accept this inquiry. One night (actually it was like 4 in the morning) I had been awaken by the sound of my Ernie doll saying it's normal sayings like ''your my best friend'' it had been sitting at the end of my bed ''go to sleep'' it said, and started the snoring noises it's stomach raising and dropping with no batteries!!!! I of course screamed for my mother who immediately disposed of the doll.
I am now going to be 14 on July 12 and the thought of it still frightens me today. Another occasion my mother informed me of was when I was too little to remember and was sleeping at the time. My mother was in bed trying to go to sleep but could not because of the many lights that were on in the house and the fact I was laying on her chest asleep she of course was not able to turn them off. My step-father was in the shower at the time and my mother asked him to turn them off and of course he explained why he could not at the end of his explanation(which I presume took no more than a second) all the lights that were on shut off my mother of course ran out of the room myself in her arms to the bathroom no matter her state of utter blindness in the dark.
