I lived on W Rumble near Davis for a couple years. First of all there is a memorial on a tree for a guy that was murdered right outside the court I lived in. My mom had one of those alarm clocks where you would have to turn the dial to change the radio station, and every morning it would turn to a Spanish station (none of us spoke Spanish).
The duplexes there felt very dark, even to the point where my neighbor went insane and lit himself on fire (he's still alive by the way even though he's crazy). I saw shadows almost every night in my room and heard things constantly.

There's also a lot of drug related and car accident deaths in the Davis Park/intersection.

I'm a Latina I was born here in Modesto but raised in Jalisco for 15 years and I know about La Llorona... When I was younger I would always wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. Well where I used to live our back yard was the lake (as you know La Llorona usually is heard near a lake or river) I went to use the bathroom like always when I hear a yell far away ( I was told that if you heard her far away that meant she was close, and if you heard her close she was far) her yell was like of pain; it gave my body the chills and I couldn't move because I was so afraid I heard her twice....
The next day without me saying anything my aunt told me she heard La Llorona that night at the same time that I did.. It was so creepy.

An Elementary School in the ''ghetto'' area is obviously haunted. 2 years ago my godmothers daughter lets call her Hannah. Hannah used to go to this school when she was minor. She is 21 now. At first when I started going there I had a weird feeling when I walked by the bathrooms.
