I live on Maple Street, and I have heard stories about the apartment I live in. One was about an old man who passed away in the room that my dad sleeps in. One night I arrived home late, and I went into the bathroom to shower. I was being quiet because my mom and brother were sleeping. My dad was the only person awake, but he was in bed on his phone. I stepped into the shower for a bit. Then I heard knocking on the door. I ignored it, but then

I heard it again. I turned off the water then walked out the bathroom to the hall way. All our lights were off, except for this one light in the hallway

which was so dim. I looked into the living room and saw a man standing by the window. We stared at each other, and I knew it was my dad, so I called his name multiple times, but the figure just stood there. I finally said ''why are you just standing there?'' Then my dad put his hand on my shoulder and said ''what's wrong?'' I flipped out. I turned back to the figure, and it was gone. I believe this was the ghost of that old man that died.
