I lived in Moorpark with my backyard facing the hills near Moorpark College. On Luther circle in 2011 late one night I saw an Indian woman dragging a bag across my living room in full native gear. She didn't make eye contact and kept walking slowly. I did research and the hills above Moorpark College were Native American's. I will never forget what I saw, and anyone who reads this needs to know the truth about Native Americans in Moorpark/Simi. Submitted

We moved to Moorpark in 2004. We were told by several residents that before the Tuscany Square shopping center was developed there was a large grove of trees where Euodia is now. A transient had been living in that grove. He grabbed a young girl one day and killed her. The security guard in our complex told us a story that late one night he saw a young girl walking from that direction and she seemed to be in trance. I was very early in the morning and in the winter. He said she was very under-dressed for the winter weather. He called out to her but she continued to walk towards the Arroyo.
