I have witness three separate sightings. I grew up in a house on Eagleview Place. From the time when the tract was first built back in 1982. The first was when I was about eight years old. It was mid morning. I was groggy from just waking. After waking I walked halfway past the large living room, and out of the corner of my right eye a shadowy female figure seemed to emerge. It strode three long steps from behind the piano in the corner, then smiled, and waved directly at me. The edges of her profile silhouette were fuzzy and misty. I turned and walked towards the piano. She turned around, took one stride, then vaporized. I looked behind the piano, but it was flush against the wall, so I used my arm to clear the vertical blinds and looked out the sliding door. Nothing was there. Submitted by Grant

I grew up in a house in Newbury Park on Greenway Avenue. We experienced many years of some kind of entity. Most commonly it was voice imitations and unexplained noises. There was one of the upstairs bedroom that was always cold. This was the room I grew up in. We had some investigators in when I was a kid. I don't remember who they were, but they said that the house was experiencing some paranormal activity, especially the closet from the upstairs bedroom. As a very small child, I complained that my toys moved around the room by themselves. To this day I have a heightened sense toward the paranormal. Not something that I enjoy, but I feel it is important to let someone know what happened.

I live on Potrero Road in Newbury Park and our home is haunted. I have kept a journal of events over 17 years and am up to page 14. I believe there are Indian spirits in our home. The prior resident told me (after I had experiences myself and happened to call her about some mail that kept arriving) ''you know that house is haunted''. She had a Chumash spiritual leader come through and sage our home years ago. He said our home is a portal. I believe it. They want attention, but are not scary to me.
