My parents had an old rotary telephone that was from the 1940s they had used as a prop in a play they had just done and they brought it home after the show was over, and temporarily placed it in the dining room on the table which I did not know they had done yet. I was taking a nap on their couch when no one else was home and I woke up to the sound of an old fashioned ring - it only rang once. But it was clear and it lasted the full length of one long ring. I got up to go see what could have made that noise and found the old fashioned phone on the table. I told my parents it rang only once and my dad said old phones do that sometimes and I said ''well did it ever ring during the show you did? '' and he said ''no''.

We moved into this nice neighborhood and into a big house. The first couple of months I would hear noises such as someone walking up the stairs or breathing next to me. I myself do not believe in paranormal activity, but then I would hear voices and giggles of little kids running through my hallway. I decided to go to the local library, and I found out there was a mass murder in my own house. A man had killed a whole family in their sleep. This house is located on Longridge Avenue, North Hollywood. Submitted by Tim
