I live over by Hamilton, and I have the same hallway issues as Pedro said, but it only happens during power outages. Something also lives in the hills out here. I hear something moving through the brush outside my window at night, but it's definitely on 2 legs and not human animalistic noises. I have woken up in the middle of the night a few times once to a woman cackling. It sounded like it was in the room.

on the hill, and you could hear the sound of sea shells as they walked. My dog tried to bark at it/them, but I quited the dog because it made me uneasy.

Another night my dog smashed his head through the screen to get at whatever was outside, but he never does it when he sees people or animals. I have had to keep the blind down when he sleeps with me as I am on the second story.

I grew up on Trumbull Avenue between Vineyard and Mill. Just that street alone at night creeps you out. We lived in the oldest structure around dating before the 1930s. We would constantly hear people walking up and down the stairs tapping on the walls and sometimes even see black figures standing in corners. Things constantly disappeared or moved. We always had a feeling that someone was watching us. Glad to have moved out.
