My story is in Knights Ferry 9 miles from Oakdale. Years ago the town was used as a river crossing for gold coming out of the Goldfields in the mountains. The town has a haunting history. Indian tribes have lived in the area for years.
There are still parts of Spanish land grants there it is said that the museum is haunted but know one seems to know who the ghost is. Know one wants to going there alone. Strange sounds come from the museum at night.

I have been at the river and saw a white mist rise forn a shape that could be a man and then move off. Orbs have ben reported in the area.

The grumpy old man across from the junior high in Oakdale is Mr. Hair (or hare not sure of the spelling). He used to live right across the street in the tall old house that is now next to the parking lot (there used to be a smaller house where the parking lot is now).
