Then when we were 2 months into our house, everything was pretty much settled. We were just enjoying the sunset and the evening when I noticed something walking across the hallway. Strange thing was the light was on downstairs. It was the glare of the light shining upward towards the upper level. I saw a shadow of a person coming upward to wards the upper level. It turned right, and the shadow disappeared. I ran to go see what or who was that. I checked

all the bedrooms and the hallway and went downstairs. I found nothing.
Puzzled by what had just happen, I mentioned to my husband ''did you see

that?'' He laughed and said ''this is an old house; it's the house settling. Nothing to worry about. If it's an intruder, the alarm will pick it up''. I said ''ah huh, there is a ghost or something in this house''. He laughed and said ''you've been watching the History Channel too much with these ghost stories''.
It wasn't till I had to go to visit my brother in Las Vegas that I left my husband home alone for a week. It was then after I had been
