It is rumored that certain apartments on Fruitvale ave are haunted. I did not believe the story of the woman from apartment 13 until I witnessed it for myself. This woman was said to be young and beautiful but her husband was a strange man.
The story says that one day their neighbors stopped seeing her after a few months and no news of this woman and strange noise being heard from her apartment people called the police. The woman turned out to be murdered by her husband! And on certain nights when you're all alone she appears with a scary and angry look wearing a white night gown.

Reputedly, there have been sightings of a young girl floating or at the bottom of Oakland High's Live Oak pool. One eye-witness said she was trying to say something to him. Other witnesses have heard the hand air blowers go on when no one is around them in the boys' changing room.
Footsteps are also sometimes heard.

Comment by Steven: I've never seen anything or anyone floating in the pool. I've been there many many times and never seen ghost there. Maybe my strong belief in God protects me from these specters. Not saying the story is untrue I've just not seen anything there that was paranormal.
Honestly I'm happy that I didn't see anything.
