I did a loop around Lake Chabot going clockwise. After I passed the dam and I entered into the wooded area in the north to north east section of Lake Chabot, I started to feel creepy as if somebody was watching me. Nobody else was in that section, and I found that to be a little odd. I began to really pay attention to my surroundings. Then suddenly I heard footsteps behind me and saw two mountain men chasing after me. It was so freaky. These guys had long hair and beards. They were skinny and tall, and they looked like they were from the past. I took off running and didn't stop until I got out of the woods. They chase me for a while, but I ran faster than I could pay attention to them.

This happened to me last night around 9 p.m. as my friend and I were cutting through traffic. We decided to cut on what I think was Redwood Road. I had to pee really bad, but since we were nowhere near a close restroom my friend pulled over, so I could on the side road.

I walked a little bit into the woods just in case a car passed by when I heard what sounded like a woman hollering in pain. The sound echoed through the trees and sent chills all over my body. I felt paralyzed when I heard it until my friend who also heard the cry pulled me to get back to the car.
As we were running to the car, we heard it again, but this time much closer. There was no way someone could have gotten that much closer so fast. I swear my whole body was trembling at the sound it. I've never heard anything so horrifying in my life.
My friend and I were so scared; she started driving away as fast as she could while I kept my eyes close the whole time afraid that we were going to see something in the middle of the road. I'm not sure what we heard last night, but just thinking of it gives me full body chills.
