Memories always come back to me of the house we lived in on Solana Drive in the Kelly Ridge area of Oroville. We lived there in the early 90s and bought it from an elderly lady whose husband had passed. The house that was built in 1949 had become too much for her, and she was in her 90s. Many strange occurrences were had in that house. We heard our front door knocker knocked some mornings at precisely the same time only to never find anyone there. We had loud

noises from the upstairs bedroom, which had belonged to the widow's husband. My daughter has had her backpack flung across the floor by unseen forces.

Once the TV in her bedroom came on all by itself, and she was awaken one night to find herself levitated in her bed. The stairs were bare wood, and we always heard footsteps on the stairs.
The only person to ever see anything was my Dad. They lived in the little guest cottage on the property, and they would walk across the back patio to do their laundry in our laundry room. We had a huge picture window, and he looked in to see a figure turn
