and float up the stairs. He said he looked to be a foot or two off the ground. My dad was alarmed and went back to the cottage as he decided to do laundry another day. He said he knew we were both at work, and there was NO WAY he was going in there. The widow's husband had installed these dark walnut floors in the house, and she had told us he was very proud of it. Unfortunately, they made the house very dark, and we covered them with new carpet.

evening at dinner we were all sitting at the table to begin to eat dinner, and a loud stomping and clamoring came from the bedroom directly over the dining

room. I raced upstairs to see what it was. The room (again her husband's old room) was basically empty because we only had one child that slept in the other upstairs room. Of course there was nothing there. We think he was upset that we covered his beautiful floors with carpet. Often our cat would sit on the back of the sofa and stare upstairs and then run.
Lots of occurrences there at that house, but we always wonder if anyone else had experiences
