The day after the summit fire, my family met at a home that was untouched by the fire. However, one of the outbuildings was destroyed by the fire. This home belongs to a family member, and we were there to help salvage family memories of a loved one who had passed away in the home from an illness. Myself and another family member was taking pictures of damage. In one of the pictures, the house was in the back ground. It was brought to our attention that when you look at the picture, there appears to be someone standing on the balcony of the second story (off the room that the family member who passed. ) My family believes that it was the spirit/ghost of their loved one although there were no reports of activity from those who have lived there. It was trippy to see photo. Somewhere I may still have a copy of it and if I locate it, I will submit it. . Submitted by Unnamed Family Member

In the 70s we lived in Thermalito, Ca on 7th Street. One foggy evening our inside dog began frantically barking at the front door. I looked out the window and saw a dark haired woman in a long white ''nightgown. '' She appeared to be floating and moving trance-like back and forth under the old streetlamp. I called for my Grandmother and brother to come and see the lady. My brother was so scared; he ran and hid behind the sofa.
My Grandmother thought it was just someone on drugs. I said, ''No grandma. She is floating; you can't see her feet. '' My Grandma stepped out onto the front porch and shouted to the woman. The lady never stopped floating back and forth and never looked our way. She slowly disappeared into the misty fog. My grandma assured me it was just an illusion. She said the woman had feet and was not floating and had just moved out of the light. Later that evening when my mom came home, and my grandma thought us kids were asleep, I heard her telling my mom the lady was floating. She was sure it was a spirit. She said the woman evaporated into thin air. Submitted by Thermalito 7th St.
