I was driving down Peninsula Road in Oxnard at about 12:30 at night. All of a sudden the ghost of a little boy ran across the front of our car. He was completely transparent, but I could see he had on shorts and a tee shirt. I was really shaken. Maybe he was hit by a car or met some tragic end on that road. So sad.

I was born and raised in Oxnard. I lived in the neighborhood across the street from Oxnard College opposite of Bard Rd. Many scary things happened at my old house on Drake Drive. I remember always feeling like I was being watched. Once I remember I was sleeping on the couch in the living room. I woke up in the middle of night and remember my mom was asleep on the other couch. The TV was on, but there was no signal just a static screen with the volume up. I went up to it to turn the TV off, but as I did a picture of a female ghost started to form in the static. I remember being so scared. I hit the power button and hid under the blanket.

Another time about 10 years ago my grandma passed away in the house. It began a sunny day but out of nowhere it started to rain. On that same day I remember that a pipe in the house had burst. It was heating up the tile in the living room with hot water underneath. I also cannot even put a number to the amount of times I've heard footsteps, doors slam shake, or felt chills come over me for no reason. I'm convinced there were ghosts in my house, and I'm glad we sold it and moved on.

The old Justin Petit house on A-Street is haunted. It's now offices but the ghost of 'Uncle Eddy' is seen on all floors--sometimes looking out the windows. They have stuff happen in the basement where they have a small theater. It's not an evil ghost--he like watches over things.
