I live in the weird part of town where it's sort of Port Hueneme, but it's still Oxnard. Some kind of in between place. That's how it feels to me, anyway. I live on Cypress Road near the train tracks. I live in apartment buildings where some of the residents have complained of seeing things. I've heard the area was a place where people used to practice witchcraft, but like all things people ''hear'' I can't honestly be sure. I just want to

I've seen this black shadow. Rarely but I've

seen it walk once into my brothers room at night. Jumping up from my room, only to find my brother sound asleep in his bed and the only person in the room. My mother had been at the table facing our rooms and the hallway connecting us. She hadn't seen a thing. When I first saw ''things'' here I was on the couch in a dimly lit living room facing the 3-door hallway. My brother's room door was open, so the sunlight brightened up the bathroom door.
