I saw what I believe to be a man crossing Louis Avenue in Palermo CA then just vanish into the bushes. I believe it is a ghost. I understand an old Native family house is on Louis Avenue where bad things happened. How do I get the address or locate this house?. Submitted by Corrine

Magnolia Manor. Built 1886. How do I know? I extensively researched it. I am an area professional and was hired to sell this place. At first, I thought the home was harmless. It was to me just an old house as I didn't have any reason to believe otherwise. The day I went to take photos I spent a few hours taking hundreds of shots. After I left each room the doors slowly shut themselves. I thought to myself ''are the owners playing a trick? Were these auto shut hinges. '' But after casually admiring the doors, there was nothing I saw that would pull them shut. Not even gravity.

What got to me was at the time I had a cheap $100 battery operated camera, and I took brand new batteries to take photos with. After I walked inside with the new batteries, the camera would not turn on. The new batteries were dead, so I drove down the way to buy batteries at a convenience store, and wonderful they worked. At the end of the day in which I thought was a successful shoot, I had no photos on my camera. Memory card was empty; I was shocked. I had to go back a second time when I finally got what I needed. Now I don't know about you, but the coincidences and lack of wind that day have me chills, literally. I had always laughed off people getting chills, ''what a joke'' I thought.

Palermo is my home town I was born in Oroville hospital. I have seen things almost everywhere I have went but here n Palermo was the worst! The home I lived in after birth was next to the south end of the railroad tracks. In our home you could smell perfume in a gust of wind when no windows were open! Also when you where in the bathjroom of our home you could here people talking in my bedroom on the other side of the wall! Also my father Stanly Byrd and his best friend had to bolt down the attic door because it would float.
