After about an hour or so the banging started to get closer and closer to mine and my brother's room and before I knew it the banging sound was right outside our bedroom. I started freaking out at the idea of a ghost or spirit being outside our door so I awoke my brother and told him what was going on but he just got angry and fell back to sleep.
I stayed up staring at my door but after about a half hour after my brother fell back to sleep our

bedroom door swung open and hit the doorstop so hard it woke my brother up again. We both stayed up together the rest of the night.
When we woke up

we rushed to tell our parents about last night and they looked at each other and blew it off. Other experiences include hearing a loud yell in the living room late at night more doors swinging open TVs and lights turning on and off and the worst one was when I heard my invalid grandmother who has Alzheimer's apparently having a conversation with someone at 3 a.
M. That lasted over an hour. Creepiest thing I've ever listened to.
