When I was younger I lived across the street from Antelop Valley Mall and had several experiences in my home. I constantly heard footsteps walk up to my bedroom door noises, and I woke up one night and saw two children cuddled together dressed in pioneer clothing. The scariest experience was my door opening by itself in the middle of the night. I've brushed it off for years. I'm 23, but I was watching a show that made me research the history of Palmdale, and it was interesting because it was a pioneering town. I live in Orange county now, but I still think about it!. One night in 2018 I live in west Palmdale in Marquis housing tract. Well, my back yard is the next access road that goes up to these huge water tanks. Anyway it was 9 pm one night, and I was watering my plants that were next to my wooden back fence. On the other side is the city road that goes up the hill.

As I was watering, it was kind off of dark, and there was also a full moon that night. Suddenly I was facing the fence, and I heard a scratching and crawling noise coming from the fence facing me. I looked up to the top of the wooden fence, and in a slow motion two hands were gripping the top of fence. Then I saw a head. It was dark in a silhouette form. It was staring at me, and it was huffing and puffing an eerie sound to say the least.
I froze staring at whatever it was. I was holding the water hose, so a few seconds passed I began to step backwards with fright. I managed to walk to my garage. I got me my strong flashlight, and I went back to where I saw this thing. I looked around, and it was gone. Talk about scary s&*$t. Submitted by Tony
Comment by Mia: You might have encountered ''the hat man''. I've seen him. It is nothing you want attaching itself to you. If he does, you'll see him every night staring at you. Did you see if his fingers were longer than normal?.
