I lived with my boyfriend in Paramount in Georgia Street. The home is a big house. It's a triplex. Big home in front, and the backyard is a two-story home that was made into a duplex. The alleyway is where we would see the ghost of a little boy ''playing.'' There were other little kids at the house, so I thought it was them. I didn't think much of it until it was late, and my boyfriend told me it wasn't his roommate's kids. It was the ghost. Maybe

I grew up in a nice house on Georgia Street a few houses down from Sunset (Compton Blvd then. ) Our house had a very intelligent spirit of a young boy. We called him George for some unknown reason. He would run up and down the long hallway to the back bedroom, play with our toys, and open cabinets. He even ran baths. He just seemed to always be in the room with us doing something to let us know he was there. I was in the home from infant on, so I literally ''played'' with him when I was young.
I have no memory of ever seeing George, but I can remember the feeling of his presence. You knew he was there, you would even know where in the room he was. He had very strong energy. My father would not be alone in the house. He was not scared of him; he just would not be alone with him. I figured my father had the pleasure of seeing George. On our back patio were two little footprints in the cement. I believe it said Christopher, but I was not sure whose they were. I thought they were his, but I truly do not know.
My mother decided that she wanted to help him find his proper place at rest when it came time to sell the house and move. She researched and found out that she could talk him through leaving. I remember being upset, so I did not stay around to hear what she said to him. She later said that she told him that he had died, that we were not his family, and that it was time to go. We were not allowed to talk about George during the move. She thought it would bring him back. I figured he is still there. I wish I could contact the current resident without causing them discomfort in their home.
