Hi! I lived in Paramount for 14 year's before I moved out. One night I was heading home from a friends house walking down Orange Ave towards Alondra Boulevard, before I hit Alondra Boulevard corner I saw an old man dressed like if he was from the 60s or 70s hitchhiking, saw it's kind of odd because the whole time I lived in Paramount I had never seen a hitchhiker? I stared for a minute before I crossed the street.
When I finally crossed I looked back to have one last look but when I turned I saw an empty corner, the old man was gone? I didn't hear a car stop and I would have been well aware if there was? Plus he had a lot of luggage so it would take a minute to load.

I was about 13 years old when this happened really freaked me out. But regardless I still love that small city Paramount. :).

Comment by Oscar: Wow. My mother told me the same story when I was a kid back in 86. She said one night coming home late from work she saw a weird looking man dragging luggage heading towards Alondra. When she made a left to turn on to Motz she looked back and didn't see him anymore. When she pulled up in our drive way and got out of her car she said she saw the same man walking across the street. She was really scared because she said that there was no way that the same man could have been walking across the street. She said that she was really scared she even quit her job because she didn't want to come home at 3 am anymore.
