When I was 17 I was staying a night at my grandparents and dads house on Pinole Valley Rd across from the bridge. I was sleeping on the couch and got up to get a drink of water. As I walked into the kitchen there was a man with a white beard and mustache in blue overalls standing in the kitchen. It freaked me out so I turned around without getting water and went back to bed.

A few days later I was in the basement and saw the same guy again. A week later my step mom told me that she had seen the same guy in the garage. My grand parents moved out 10 years ago and I always wondered who he was.

I haven't seen any ghost activity in Pinole but when I was a girl my father told me of a couple that lived in one of the big old houses on San Pablo Avenue. This couple had a young daughter that they doted on and the father even had a full-size dollhouse built in their backyard for her.
The young girl was killed by either a carriage or car and the grieving parents had her buried in her dollhouse. My father told me that the young girl haunts the stretch of San Pablo Avenue in front of her house.
