to scream out ''get out of the house,'' but I couldn't speak. I couldn't breathe. Then the power came back on, and I gasped for air. Finding my arms still making an X across my chest, I was in shock, scared, and didn't want to move. I didn't know who to tell because I didn't think anyone would believe me.

I bought my home in 2009 and lived alone with my dogs before having roommates. I never had any issues until I had a house warming party where friends slept over. I went downstairs around 5:00 am, and my friend was sitting up awake on the couch. He asked me if I had met my friends. I had no idea what he was talking about. He told me that an old man appeared with a young woman. The man showed my friend a vision of himself working on the fire place, and the young woman had a hooded sweat shirt (she was from a different time period than the man. ) The young woman said she was my friend, and till this day I have no idea who it might be besides a girlfriend I had that died a few years prior. My friend told the spirits to not scare me and that I am a good person, and they said ''we like her. ''
