I never spoke about it until that day when I asked my cousin if he had ever seen anything in the house. He then proceeded to say ''you mean that shadow that comes out the hallway and disappears near the dining room?'' I was in awe!
I never found out any actual factual haunting information in the area. However, I know that, according to the historian at Black Diamond Mines, there are about 400 miles of tunnels underneath the rolling hills of Pittsburg

and Antioch. Many are undiscovered completely due to safety. This has a lot of history of Native Americans including the Omplin Miwoks of Contra Costa

County.
Just a FYI, the area I live is off West Leland close to Stoneman Park in Pittsburg. Any thoughts? .

Comment by Sam: That is so weird that you talk about how you saw a dark shadow in the hallway! I live on Central Avenue near downtown Pittsburg. There is a window in my dining room where when the light is off in there, and the light is on in the hallway you can see your reflection a little bit. One morning years ago as I was walking through the hallway, I happened to look into the window, and I saw a dark silhouette standing behind. I had to do a double take, and as I was walking into the dining room, it was gone. Then I went into the kitchen to find my oven time blinking as it does when the power goes out, but the power didn't go out, and the microwave time was fine. It was a one-time thing, but sometimes I do get a sense that someone is watching me. Sometimes I'll think I see a dark figure out of the corner of my eye. Then I'll look, and nothing will be there.
