This happened to me and a couple of friends on separate occasions. We would sleep at the beach in Playa Del Rey and around 4 am we would all wake up scared and paranoid as if we were being watched. This happened to me and other friends. Different friends but the same scenario. If anyone can relate it would be very helpful. Trying to figure out what it was.

I was sitting in my car late at night outside a neighbor's house. I had not set up my internet service yet for my apartment so... Yes, I had my laptop with me and was trying to use my neighbor's unprotected wireless service.

Suddenly someone knocked loudly on rear of the car. I jumped thinking that my neighbor had caught me and was upset. But when I looked around there was no one there. Suddenly again I heard the knocking right at the passenger side door.
I could clearly see that no one was standing there. The knocking started again all over the car this time. The pounding actually made the car shake a little. I looked out the window to see if something was falling from the trees but as it turned out I had parked in an area clear of trees.
I drove away as fast as I could... and spent the night at my boyfriend's house. The next night I was at home getting ready for my boyfriend to come by. Someone knocked on my front door. I opened it thinking it was him...
