Red hoodie, blue jeans, raggedy hair, orange glow in her eye as she was turning away when I was driving away. I'm never going back, never. I'll go to Port Costa down by the water in the day time, but never in the night time I'll go down McEwen Road again! So scary!!!.

My friend and his girlfriend went to Port Costa at 5 am. The date was 12-26-2014, and it was the coldest night of winter. At about 5:20 they were on McEwen Road and drove past the slaughter house. My friend was joking saying ''what if we see a ghost?'' Then, after a slight right turn, my friend saw the lady wearing the red sweatshirt walking her dog. My friend stated that the dog seemed really alive and aware, but the lady was covering her face. His girlfriend was driving, and she couldn't see her. She said she saw a flash of red. Right after we drove by the lady she was on the opposite side of the road walking the opposite way. Really creepy.
I went back with him one night (March 8, 2015) just me and my friend. It was just a few months after. We drove down McEwen all the way to the water at about 4:40 am and saw nothing on the way. About 5:05 am we drove back up McEwen back towards home and saw nothing. I was really angry. I wanted to see something, but the creepiest thing ever was that on the way back towards Martinez on the freeway, I almost hit an owl that flew right above my windshield. I didn't hit it, but I would have if I didn't hit the brakes and swerve to the left. I might be going back. I'm really not sure yet. If anybody has had similar experiences or want to give me any tips.

Comment by Port Costa Citizen: There is not and has never been a slaughterhouse on that road or a fire or loss of life at the old school.
