It moved very fast and suddenly disappeared after we had darted through at least 5 rows of orange groves. We walked back to my car and realized we had seen a ghost. I do not think I have returned since I had this experience.

Hi my name is Aaron. I've lived here in Porterville for twenty-eight years, and I've heard a lot of stories about ghostly encounters, but I never really knew what to think ''until'' me and my parents moved into the house of on N. Lombardi Street when I was eight years old. We moved in late that day, so I had to go right to sleep that night, and nothing happened. The next day I got up all happy about our new place and started playing with my toys at the end of the hall way happy. Then I got a strange feeling and looked down the hall, saw nothing, but I felt like something was definitely there, so I got freaked out and ran to my mom in the kitchen.
Later on that year I was playing with my toys in the middle of my room all happy until I got this feeling something was watching me. Then I saw black shadows moving at the corner of my eyes. I ran down the hall to the living room looking behind me. My mom would say ''what's the matter?''I would say nothing because I thought she wouldn't believe me. That would happen so many times to me. Even when I would walk down the hall way, right in the middle of the hall way I always get a feeling something was right there, so I would run the rest of the way looking behind me. My mom still remembers me doing that a lot. We would start hearing something hit the wall in the middle of the hall way, and something would hit our closet door and the closet doors handle multiple times. My parents and I would all hear it at the same time. This was just the start of things.
When I was about 11 I had a metal bunk bed. I woke up one night to something playing with my left foot because it was hanging off the edge. I would always sleep on the top, and I was the only child. I woke up to something tugging my left foot, so I thought it was my dad. I got up and looked, and there was nothing there. I could see my whole room because of my clock radio light was real bright. When I saw it, it was 12 something, and I realized my dad was still at work. I yelled at my mom and asked her if dad was home. She said ''No, go back to sleep. ''
We lived in that house for 13 yrs and moved. Things were getting worse as the years went by. We had a ceiling fan with a metal chain in all our rooms. It was a 3-bedroom house, well the bedroom that connected with the middle of the hall way was where a lot of things would happen. The ceiling fan in that spare bedroom that we made the computer room would flick real hard and hit the fan by itself with the fan off. It would happen daily for a long time. We would be in the living room and hear that metal chain flick and hit the fan. Sure enough we would open the door, and there it was the metal chain going back and forth. Me and my dad were talking in the kitchen when we both saw the phone cord jerk and hit the microwave as the phone was mounted on the wall.
Our Pug dog Rocky would sleep with me and would always be looking at my doorway that went to the hall way and would bark and go down the hall way. I started sleeping on the bottom bunk after what happened to my left foot. The last weird thing that happened in my room was this black circle on the roof of my room. It was a perfect circle of about 4 inches in length. As I looked closer, I noticed they were black bugs that looked like worms. They started to hang from a web, so I called my dad, and he got the bug spray. As I was waiting I was holding a card board box under them, so they wouldn't get on the carpet. Well when they would land they would move like a slinky toy catapulting. We killed them and looked up in the attic right above my room to see if something died up there, but there was nothing. The last thing that happened to my dad was when he was lying in bed with my mom asleep. Something woke him up, and he saw a black shadow moving strangely across the ceiling of their bedroom, and it stopped and shot right into my dad. He said he heard this buzzing sound like electricity in his head. Then he couldn't breathe like something was choking him. As he felt like he was going to die, he started praying, and it slowly went away.
