It's true about this town being haunted by phantoms and ghost like figures. My family and I have lived here for 20 years and the stories are numerous and by far some of the spookiest I have heard. Here is one recent incident...
Last Thursday while dropping off a friend at seventh and g St. I turned suddenly toward the front of the house and to the gate that enters the back yard. I saw standing or floating (I do not know which) was a pale white form.
It was rounded at the top where the head would be and got wider towards the rest of the form. I stood there staring in disbelief for about 4 seconds when it floated to the left behind some small trees.

My friend saw that I was shocked and asked what was wrong. He told me the previous owner had committed suicide in the back yard a few years ago. It was a shocking sight to see and the truth as I saw it that night.
