Around 1994 - 1997 I lived off McCoy Road in the Pepper Tree Estates area. One afternoon we heard a plane that kept getting louder and louder. It sounded like a big plane. The sound was so loud. The only thing we could think of was it was going to crash on us, so we ran outside to try get away from it. When we got to front door and stepped outside, the noise was deafening. plane, the big ones that carry a lot people a jumbo jet, just coasted over and just missed the roof of our house and the house right above us on little
|
hill. It was so close; we could have hit it with a rock. It just missed the neighbor's house, and the only outcome was crashing. Soon it coasted over the top of neighbor's house.
There was a high bank like that surrounds their property in the back pasture. There was no way any kind of aircraft, and one that is a jumbo jet can or could pull out of it. It disappeared behind the house, and our neighbor is close enough that you could slingshot a
