I lived on Mt. Wellington in Redding when I was twelve years old. One night I heard my mom telling someone, ''do you mind turning that back on?'' The next morning I asked my mom who she was talking to last night. She told me that something kept turning off her reading light and every time her light would turn off she'd turn it back on. After the third time of turning her light back on she finally said, ''do you mind turning that back on?'' Then her light came back on.
Another night my mom came out of her room, and she was white as a ghost. She said she just saw an old man crouched down in her bathroom smoking a cigar. When my dad, my mom and I went to investigate the old man was gone, but you still smelled the distinctive scent of a cigar.

There was another time we had a friend stop by, and our friend was a fairly large man. His name ironically was ''Bear. '' There were also me, my mom, and my friend from down the street, and we were all standing in the kitchen. Then a bottle opener flew from the door of the refrigerator hitting ''Bear'' in the side.

There's a lot more that went on, like door bells ringing with nobody there. My dad disconnected it, and it still rang. Shadows were running from one room to another. We also had an old man in khaki's walk from one room to another, glass light covered fall at an angle and crashed on my mom's head. We sometimes feel extremely cold in the house on a very hot summer day.

This is outside of Redding up in McArthur. I was staying at a friend's house on the weekend like I normally do. We were lying in bed, and I was suddenly wakened up by what sounded like maybe little feet running down the hallway, very hard and very quickly. I remember opening my eyes and thinking what the heck! Then I felt something jump on top of me which startled me horribly. It felt like whatever this was, held me arms down, compressed my chest to the point I could hardly breathe. I could not move. I tried to scream out for help. Nothing would come out of my mouth! No noise, no sounds of any kind, and it became more difficult to breathe.
