I live off San Bernardino Boulevard and in the house there is a sound at night like someone is inside the walls of the entire house and they're trying to get out.

I have lived in my home in Redlands, CA for about 8 years now. I live about 5-6 blocks from the downtown area. At nights I can hear the ceiling screeching as if people are walking on my roof. I hear a couple of loud footsteps and then it stops for a while.
There's a strong presence in the kitchen area, you can just feel as if someone's watching you. My bedroom is right next to the living room and a couple of years ago my grandma claimed that at night she heard a man snoring loudly on the couch.
She said when she got up to see if it was my dad it stopped and no one was there, and when she went back to bed it started again. As she started to get up again it would stop and then start again when she was about to fall asleep.
