Years ago my husband and I were traveling to lake tahoe on hwy 160 following behind us was his cousin and husband it was approximatley 2 am we were coming up to a part in the hwy where the bean pot used to be located years ago I was sitting in the passenger seat as we approached a bend in the road I saw a woman in a long white flowing dress I yelled for my husband to watch out for her and wondered what she was doing walking along the road that late at night.

My husband did not see her as we drove up a ways we pulled over to talk to our family driving behind us when I told them her husband who was driving seen her but his wife did'nt.. Years later my sister was dating a hwy ptrl who patroled that area at one time and when I was telling them about the incident he starting giving me the details of her and where she is seen before I even went into detail this totally floored me he told me they have had several siteings at that location from citizens, and other officers claiming there was a car accident years ago and the lady we see walking along the road was the mother of 2 children who died with her in a car accident and she has been seen along the road looking for her children..

Has anyone heard about this. This has bothered me for years and would like to know if there is any truth to this story.

Comment by Quincy: I was told the story by my family that often fish the area it was flooded when 6 years ago I was going to Vacaville from Texas I took 10 to 99 to 12. I had forgotten about the story I was told I was the only car on the road at about1:30 2:00 am and I was going toward highway 80, and to the left side of the road I saw her in all white clear as day and windows were tinted. I could not believe it I thought I was just imagined things because I was on highway 12 and I was told the story and been driver hours but I read a story on here just like mine I would like to find out who she really is in her name.
