I've been wanting to write some of my experiences here for a while. I've had so many over the years in Salinas. I've lived here all my life, and my family has moved around within the city to new apartments and homes. My first experiences have been growing up in a home on Elkington Avenue. That place is so haunted that 20 years later I still think about it. As many locals know that street is known for its gang violence activity and has always been on the

''not a good street to live on'' list. I'm unsure if this has added to the ongoing paranormal activity there, but it's a possibility.

up there was terrifying because we always had activity. We heard cooking and talking in the kitchen. In the bedrooms they would terrorize me and my sister. Curtains would move; TVs would turn off and on. Guitars were strummed, and covers were pulled, and they would also grab you.
To this day I can't sleep with the lights off, and I'm 35 years old! We lived there for twelve years until my parents bought a house in 2000 and moved to Cabrillo Avenue.
