In Salton City there's an Arco station; my wife works the 11 pm-730 am shift. Three years ago I went to get coffee about 3 am. I was exiting my car at the front entrance when I heard some kids running around laughing and giggling as kids do.
I thought who would have their kids out at this hour? . Now although I couldn't see anyone at all I figured they must be around the corner or maybe it's coming from the speakers most gas stations have outside.

happened three times over the next week and a half always around 3 am. The third time I mentioned it to the clerk who as of Feb. 2016 is my wife. She

responded that the voices were often heard but no children were around and that the staff believed they were ghosts.
So if you stop by on your way somewhere say about 3 am and hear some kids running around laughing and giggling with no one around ???.

I've worked for the local school district for 19 years now and have had some recent experiences at a school in Salton City. This summer I walked into the Administration Bldg. on a Friday during our 4-10 hour day work week. No one was there at the time, it being a non work day and 6:00 PM. I normally get to work at 5:00AM, shut off the alarm and exit by the cafeteria. The kitchen staff is usually there and one can hear their conversations well into the Admin. area. On this particular day, I walked in, shut off the alarm, and could hear the usual chatter from the cafeteria area. I walked towards the exit thinking of the tools I'd gone to get, when it dawned on me that there weren't supposed to be any other persons there. I reached the cafeteria door which opened into the Admin. area, and it was open. As I turned into the short hallway connecting the two areas the talking ceased, I called out then entered the cafeteria. It was absolutely empty and not a sound could be heard.
